After so many cancellations and delays, AV industry shows are finally back with a bang in 2022. Now that the dust has had a chance to settle from both ISE Barcelona, and InfoComm Las Vegas, we’re taking a moment to reflect on our highlights from the past few weeks - we certainly have a lot to share.

Tens of thousands of attendees poured in from over 150 countries and there was a much missed energy and buzz in the air after years of Covid complications. Being able to see colleagues (some for the very first time!), talk things over face to face, and of course speak to everyone from the wider industry that stopped by our stand was fantastic.

A definite highlight in both Barcelona and Las Vegas were our sold out X1 demos. Launched in 2021 we had been unable to properly show it to the wider industry due to Covid, so taking X1 two major trade shows within one month has been really special. The response from everyone who had the chance to see (and hear) the product in action has further underlined our conviction that our product is set to change the face of audio.

Thanks to everyone who inspired us with ideas and conversation about how and where X1 could be deployed. At InfoComm we were even able to offer a sneak peak of our new X1 rigging system (coming later this year). Thanks also to the teams at the Industrial AKROLL and AV Vegas demo locations, who gave us the perfect spaces to welcome friends both old and new, while showcasing the HOLOPLOT X1 Matrix Array. 

To top it all off, we were fortunate to walk away with three outstanding awards from ISE and Infocomm. These include the coveted Best of Show at ISE 2022, and the Best in Show at InfoComm 2022 - both for the HOLOPLOT X1 Matrix Array - and the ISE 2022 Stand Design Award for best medium sized stand - organized by EXHIBITOR magazine. As if that wasn’t good enough, Illuminarium won Best Multipurpose Venue at the Mondo Awards for its Atlanta location, where the HOLOPLOT X1 is an integral part of delivering their next level immersive experiences.

So it is with some exhaustion but mostly exhilaration that we wanted to say thank you to everyone who stopped by the booth, attended our demos, or joined us for drinks. Thank you for making our return to the trade show floor such a spectacular success. For those of you who weren’t able to attend, don’t worry - we look forward to showing you the next evolution of what is possible in pro audio at a trade show or demo soon.
